Today’s Encouragement

Service is love made practical. It reflects the heart of Christ when we use our time, strength, skill, and attention to bless others. True service is not driven by applause but by faithfulness to God.

Serving well often happens in unseen places. A helpful word, a completed task, a patient attitude, or a burden shared can matter deeply. When service is offered to the Lord, even ordinary work becomes meaningful.

Hebrews 10:24 teaches that believers should intentionally think about how to encourage one another toward love and faithful action.

When it says, “And let us consider one another,” it means we should not live only focused on ourselves. We are called to notice others, think about their needs, pay attention to their spiritual condition, and care enough to encourage them.

The phrase “to provoke unto love and to good works” means we should stir one another up in a good way. The word provoke can sound negative, but here it means to encourage, motivate, or lovingly push someone toward what is right. God wants His people to influence one another toward Christlike love and practical service.

This verse reminds us that Christian love is not passive. We are not only called to feel love; we are called to help love grow in others. We encourage one another to forgive, serve, give, pray, show kindness, help the hurting, and do what honors God.

Hebrews 10:24 teaches that our words, example, and actions can help someone else walk closer to the Lord. A faithful believer should be someone who inspires love and good works, not discouragement, selfishness, or division.
